NPI Quality Engineer

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented with a strong background in quality engineering and quality assurance in manufacturing environment. Seeking to leverage my technical expertise and multilingual communication skills as a NPI Quality Engineer to ensure product excellence and foster strong supplier relationships.

Responsibilities:

  1. NPI Engineer
  2. Collect and organize test plans and measurement data and create reports.
  3. Conduct quality inspections and root cause analyses to resolve production issues.
  4. Collaborate with IQC to improve material performance and compliance with specifications.
  5. Collaborate with Process to improve process related issues.
  6. Implement quality standards and provide training to internal teams.
  7. Monitor and document process improvements, reducing defects.
  8. Maintain clear communication with international partners.
  9. NPI Management:
  10. Manage reliability evaluation and RTV (return to vendor) per each engineering build, proceed with FACA/ 8D-report for failures that occurred during reliability test/RTV and follow up until issue is completely resolved.
  11. Conducted data analysis to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
  12. Manage and monitor the tester, tools, Jigs in the reliability assessment process and ensure the testing results are accurate.
  13. Manage and order tools/jig/equipment in the reliability assessment process according to the newly issued documents from the customer.
  14. Supported the QA team in maintaining ISO 9001 compliance.
  15. Skills
  16. Having experience in applying Quality Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Six Sigma Methodologies and FMEA.
  17. Experience in ISO 9001 & 14001 Standards
  18. Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics, 2D/3D models, technical data sheets, international technical documents.
  19. Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Marco), and related tools
  20. Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  21. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  22. Excellent organizational and project management skills.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality management, production planning, or coordination.
  • Language: Proficiency in English (additional Japanese or Chinese skills are a plus).

Working Conditions:

  • Full-time, on-site position.
  • Occasional overtime may be required to meet deadlines and production schedules.
