We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented with a strong background in quality engineering and quality assurance in manufacturing environment. Seeking to leverage my technical expertise and multilingual communication skills as a NPI Quality Engineer to ensure product excellence and foster strong supplier relationships.
Responsibilities:
- NPI Engineer
- Collect and organize test plans and measurement data and create reports.
- Conduct quality inspections and root cause analyses to resolve production issues.
- Collaborate with IQC to improve material performance and compliance with specifications.
- Collaborate with Process to improve process related issues.
- Implement quality standards and provide training to internal teams.
- Monitor and document process improvements, reducing defects.
- Maintain clear communication with international partners.
- NPI Management:
- Manage reliability evaluation and RTV (return to vendor) per each engineering build, proceed with FACA/ 8D-report for failures that occurred during reliability test/RTV and follow up until issue is completely resolved.
- Conducted data analysis to identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Manage and monitor the tester, tools, Jigs in the reliability assessment process and ensure the testing results are accurate.
- Manage and order tools/jig/equipment in the reliability assessment process according to the newly issued documents from the customer.
- Supported the QA team in maintaining ISO 9001 compliance.
- Skills
- Having experience in applying Quality Tools, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Six Sigma Methodologies and FMEA.
- Experience in ISO 9001 & 14001 Standards
- Ability to read and understand engineering drawings and schematics, 2D/3D models, technical data sheets, international technical documents.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Marco), and related tools
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and project management skills.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a production or manufacturing environment, with a focus on quality management, production planning, or coordination.
- Language: Proficiency in English (additional Japanese or Chinese skills are a plus).
Working Conditions:
